Resonant Pointe is an exciting project which will hopefully change the way buildings are designed and built in the area. It encourages pedestrian activity on the street level, provides offices and housing above , and is environmentally responsible. The project seeks to be the first LEED certified building in downtown Huntsville seeking LEED silver certification.
The first floor spaces will contain retail and/or restaurants. They open onto a broad sidewalk and a public plaza to the south. The second floor contains office space and features a shared balcony overlooking the Plaza. The third and fourth floors contain contemporary left-style condominiums, designed to be small and affordable. These units will contain high ceilings and have magnificent views from large windows and balconies. A rooftop fitness area and green roof garden cap off the design.
Contextually, the scale, massing, and materials strike a balance between the hospital and commercial development to the south and the residential development to the north.
